iPad 3 launch to benefit Taiwan’s Apple supply chain

Taiwanese OEM and ODM makers in the Apple Inc.’s tablet supply chain will benefit from the forthcoming launch of the U.S. Internet giant’s iPad 3 with super-high-definition (DF) display, a local business daily reported Wednesday. The first shipment of iPad 3 to be formally launched next March will reach 3 million units, far more than originally expected, the Economic Daily News said.
